On Teachers and Administrative Staff

The college has quality human resources in its teaching and administrative staff. The teaching staff is a good mixture of experience and energy. Of course, there is a plenty of talent in both categories. More than one third of teachers have taught for two decades and another one third have completed a decade of teaching.

Being one of the oldest and prestigious PU colleges in Karnataka, the institution and the faculty are frequently called upon by the department of PU Education to associate themselves with the state level academic and co-curricular programmes which have given a special honour to the department of PU Education at the National level.

For last several years, the department has been soliciting the services of the Principal, the faculty and the college for successfully conducting seminars, academic workshops, preparation of question papers, preparation of curriculum, syllabus and text books and conduct of District level examination, practical level of examination, District and State level sports and cultural activities etc.,

This speaks of the niche the college has covered for itself in the world of PU Education in the State.

Apart from huge experience and academic competence, the staff is endowed with empathy, love, and concern for the student community. Often, the former students bondly remember the humane bond that exists between the students and a large number of teachers.

The administrative staff has never lagged behind, the staff has set a good example with prompt service to students, and dedication to work. It is a mark of distinction that even after decades of service, their enthusiasm does not dwindle.
