About the Management

The SET was established in the year 1930. It is one of the premier institutions of Karnataka State. The ever growing institutes under the aegis of SET offers education from KG level to PG level today. The performance of all the institutions is excellent and worth remembering. They are fulfilling the educational needs of the student community.

The founders of the institution were eminent educationists and distinguished personalities, who laid a solid foundation and nurtured the growth of the institution. The Successive managing committee members and the present team have shaped the institution to the existing gigantic position.

Beginning with a strength of 20 students in 1930, the Seshadripuram Group of Institutions was founded originally in 1930 by two women educational enthusiasts of Seshadripuram, viz. Smt. Anandamma and Smt. Seethamma who started a primary school with about 20 children in a two Mangalore tiled rooms in the present main Campus of Seshadripuram. The trust has grown multifold to include 24 institutions with a strength 20,000 students. Having served for 83 years in the field of education, the trust is steadily progressing towards its Centenary celebrations creating a niche for itself in the academia.

SET is proud to have with them a list of Alumni, enlightened and elite personalities like Dr. Veerendra Hegde (Dharmasthala), Sri. B. V. Jagadeesh (Renowned IT professional), Smt. Shyamala.G.Bhave (Musician), Sri. Prakash Padukone (International Badminton Player), Sri. Gururaj Deshpande, Sri. A. V. Jayaprakash.... just to name a few. The institutions are independently managed and have an excellent track record in the field of academics, sports, culture and various other activities. Each institution is given the best infrastructure with an urge to provide quality education to students at all levels.
